Trenchless technologies in the implmentation of the water cycle in Gabrovo

Cured-in-Place Pipe trenchless technology will be used for the rehabilitation of the trunk water main of Gabrovo in the implementation of the water cycle of the city. Stroitelna Mehanizatsia AD, Kazanlak will rehabilitate 2715 m of the water facility, the diameter of which is 350 mm. The water main was built from asbestos cement pipes more than forty years ago due to which it is worn out and it leads to frequent failures. The pipeline route passes under Stoletov blvd. which connects the city of Gabrovo with Shipka Pass. Due to the trenchless technology which has been chosen the traffic on the strategic road facility will not be restricted or impeded which is actually impossible with the application of a conventional excavation technology.
