Stroitelna Mehanizatsia ad is nominated for TYTAN AWARD 2012

The next recognition of the professionalism of Stroitelna Mehanizatsia AD in the field of trenchless technologies came from the Polish engineering community and “Trenchless Engineering” magazine. 

The Bulgarian company was nominated for winning TYTAN Award 2012 in the category European Project in Trenchless Technologies.

With bestowing TYTAN Awards the Polish magazine „Trenchless engineering”, the organizer of the event, aims at encouraging achievements of the companies and popularizing trenchless technologies. Independent jury consisting of remarkable professionals, representatives from technical universities and trade associations evaluated the nominated projects.  

Stroitelna Mehanizatsia AD earned second place for a project implemented in 2011: Rehabilitation of a water-main in Moderno Predgradie residential district in Sofia. For the completion of this project the Cured-in-place Pipe technology /CIPP/ was applied, by using materials supplied by Sekisui SPRE, international partner of Stroitelna Mehanizatsia AD. The rehabilitated water-main with its impressive parameters (ф 1020mm and length of 850m) is located in a residential district with many buildings, narrow roads and passing under a double railway. For the successful completion of the project Stroitelna Mehanizatsia AD designed and manufactured a new machine for rehabilitation and completed the project during the coldest winter months within a very short term. After receiving No-Dig Award of the International Society for Trenchless Technologies /ISTT/, this is the second international honor for the Bulgarian company and an undisputable proof of high professionalism of the specialists working in Stroitelna Mehanizatia AD.
