The hydraulic self-motion impregnating rollers are used for impregnation of heavy linings and large diameter ones (diameter up to 1200 mm and thickness up to 50 mm). The lining is laid on the ground and the rollers move over it pushing the bubble of resin on it and at the same time they impregnate it. The equipment could be set to move straight or it could be driven in another direction using mechanical control. The impregnation speed is adjustable from 0 to 10 m/per minute.
The dimensions of the facility are 2400 x 1500 x 1650 mm and weight 1100 kg.
The drive unit is a hydraulic station with electric motor 9.5 kW used for driving of transport wheels, the two impregnating rollers and the two end feeding rollers. All drives are mechanically synchronized except for the upper impregnating roller which is hydraulically synchronized.
The compressive force between the impregnating rollers can be adjusted from 0 to 6000 kgf, and the distance between the impregnating rollers can be adjusted from 0 to 50 mm. The impregnating and the feeding rollers are covered with rubber.
