Vacuum sewer system SIVAC

Principle of operation

The vacuum sewer system is a system for waste waters collecting and leading. Waste waters are gravity delivered from the residential building to the collection shaft. When the collection shaft is full, the vacuum valve opens and the waste water enters the vacuum sewer network. By means of the vacuum, waste water is sent to the vacuum pump station, where it is stored in tanks, as is periodically pumped out to the waste water treatment plant.

The monitoring system provides to the operator the possibility of constant monitoring of the system, automatically reports failures and their location and provides possibility for real-time monitoring of each valve operation .

Application

City, rural, village and littoral areas, nature reserves and at all areas where: terrain is flat and with a irregular inclination, water table is high, soil conditions are hard and impede the excavation work, there are many obstacles along the path – other engineering networks, water areas

Advantages

  • НLow operation costs – lower “sewer” fee, paid by the population
  • Smaller construction size of the WWTP – lower “treatment” fee, paid by the population
  • Small pipe diameters – shallow pits;
  • Periodical cleaning is not necessary.
  • Lets solid and swelling waste matters through.
  • Guaranteed lack of leakages (PE vacuum pipe)

Absolutely water tight system: Does not allow ex-filtration of waste waters, preserves the soil and water-bearing layers; Lack of smells and hazardous gases; Does not allow microorganisms to be taken in the environment; Applies in sanitary protection areas of water sources and protected sites
